The program needs information from labor, cropping, animal production and financial
records. It requires that you allocate your expenses into 1 of 4 enterprises – Milk Cows,
Replacements, Forages or Grains. A form will be provided that will help organize the
information required. In addition there are written directions what to collect and how to
allocate it into enterprises.
Each analysis includes help filling out the data collection form and consultation over the results. You will be asked to sign and submit an Agreement of use before your data will be analyzed and used.
The process is as follows:
1. Read the material on the website so you understand what is involved.
2. To register for the program, contact either one of the certified advisors listed on the website or CanWest DHI at profiler@canwestdhi.com, or call Bill Grexton 1 800 549-4373 ext 254.
3. A Data Collection form and Instructions how to fill it out will be sent to you.
4. Review the Agreement of Use, Data Collection form and instructions.
5. Fill out Data Collection form to the best of your ability. Don't worry if you can't fill out everything. That is where your advisor will help you.
6. Contact your advisor to discuss issues or to make appointment for visit.
7. Your certified advisor will meet with you to verify data, provide reports and
explain them to you.
8. Any changes or additional “What if” projections will be made and sent to you upon request.
Payment is expected at the time of the visit.
